The location where they filmed the movie, A River Wild. Parts of the video are shot at our friends cabin on the Bull River. Easily one of the most beautiful places to be in the fall. This area burned much of the summer of 2009 so I am not sure of it's current state. People from around the world gather here to view the migrations. As many as 300,000 geese can be here at a time. A really nice Forest Service cabin west of Whitefish, MT A wonderful gem in the Mission Mountains. This was shot over 4th of July weekend. Pretty fun late season camping. Iceberg Lake was closed due to grizzly activity, again. A wonderful hot summer day place to cool off. This location is called The Chutes. The Bass Creek Overlook is an incredibly scenic place to go. Just watch your step. Finally, Iceberg Lake! Also includes the How to Greet Fellow Hikers Tutorial. A tamer and warmer version of a Montana cool the hogs day. A must visit place just over the pass on Hwy 12 into Idaho. Go in the winter. Scenic from the start at the trailhead. No matter how far you walk it will be good.
